The program will kick off with a 4-day orientation (Wednesday through Saturday). Classes for the W. P. Carey Executive MBA program are held one weekend per month, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on ASU’s Tempe campus. Interactive Zoom sessions —, which can also be attended in-person while on-campus — are held an additional Saturday every month, from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to the class time, you should expect to spend at least 15 to 20 hours outside of the classroom each week doing online assignments and virtual meetings to discuss assignments with your team. During the one summer session (June – July) you will spend one day on campus, two weekdays at the State Capitol and a trip to Washington D.C. (Sunday through Thursday). Finally, in your last semester, you will participate in an international practicum in March which will consist of a 10 to 14-day block of time, depending on the location.
